Have a question about registration or conference activities? We can help! Below we have answered some of the most Frequently Asked Questions about attending the THRIVE2018 Conference.

How do I register to attend the THRIVE2018 Conference?

You can register online. For additional questions regarding registration for the THRIVE2018 Conference, please contact SME Customer Service at cs@smenet.org or 303.948.4200. To receive advanced registration rates, SME must receive your registration form and payment by Friday, September 7. After September 7, on-site registration fees apply.

How can I get a copy of an invoice or receipt?

Please send all receipt inquiries to meetings@smenet.org or contact SME customer service at 303.948.4200. You can also view your meeting registrations online and print your registration acknowledgement through your SME profile. Please visit https://www.smenet.org/login, use your email address and password on file with SME, and locate My Meetings below My Contact Information on the My Account page. To see registration details, select View Registration next to the corresponding meeting.

If I pre-register, when do I receive my badge and conference materials?

All badges and conference related materials will be distributed onsite at the SME registration desk located at the Sheraton Pittsburgh Hotel at Station Square. Please check the schedule of events for registration hours.

What does my full conference registration include?

Conference registration includes access to all of the THRIVE events on September 27, 2018: all technical sessions, refreshment breaks, one ticket to the luncheon, and one ticket to the evening reception. Optional field trip tickets are available for an additional fee.

Are technical sessions included in the registration?

Your registration allows you access to all technical sessions.

When does on-site registration for attendees open?

On-site registration will open on Thursday, September 27 at 7:30 am in the Grand Station Foyer of the Sheraton Pittsburgh Hotel at Station Square.

May I bring a guest to meals and social functions?

Additional tickets for guests may be available for purchase based on availability. Please contact SME customer service at 303.948.4200 or meetings@smenet.org to inquire about availability and pricing.

How do I change my address or other contact information?

All changes to an attendee record must be submitted in writing to meetings@smenet.org.

What is the refund and cancellation policy for conference registration?

If circumstances require you to cancel your THRIVE2018 Conference registration, you must do so in writing. Written notice must be sent to meetings@smenet.org or by mail to THRIVE2018 Conference Registration, c/o SME, 12999 E. Adam Aircraft Circle, Englewood, CO 80112. Cancellations received by September 7, 2018, will receive a refund, less a processing fee of 50% of the registration cost. There are no refunds for no-shows and cancellations postmarked after September 7.
Registrants are responsible for cancellation of their own hotel accommodations.

How do I reserve housing for the THRIVE2018 Conference?

SME has secured a block of rooms at the special rate of $169 plus tax per night at the Sheraton Pittsburgh Hotel at Station Square. Reservations must be made by September 7, 2018, and are based on availability. Reservations can be made online by visiting Hotel & Venue.
